Clear terms for using the CQANET website and arranging our IT and digital services. Please read these alongside your quotation or service agreement.
1. About these terms
These terms apply to your use of cqanet.com and services supplied by CQANET LTD, including home and business IT support, computer repair, web design, hosting, maintenance, content writing, SEO and related technology services.
A quotation, proposal or service agreement will set out the scope, deliverables, timescales and charges for your particular service. Read it alongside these terms. A specific written agreement takes priority where it expressly varies these terms, subject always to applicable law. Website use alone does not create a paid service contract.
2. Quotations and bookings
Submitting an enquiry or booking request does not guarantee availability or mean that work has been accepted. CQANET will confirm the agreed service and arrangements. Please provide accurate contact details and, for onsite work, the service address.
Quotations apply to the work described. Additional work, hardware, licences or third-party charges will be discussed before you are asked to approve them. Estimated completion dates depend on access, information, approvals and any necessary parts or third-party services.
3. Prices and payments
Check the service, amount, currency and payment terms before approving checkout. The current service page, quotation or invoice identifies the applicable price and any tax treatment. Payments are processed through Stripe or PayPal, or a configured provider-hosted payment link; their payment terms also apply.
The Web Design form specifies a £150 deposit and the remaining balance on completion. Any deposit or cancellation condition remains subject to your statutory rights; a deposit described as non-refundable cannot override a refund required by law.
A monthly price label is not, by itself, confirmation of an automatic recurring payment. The agreed service terms and the provider checkout must identify whether a charge is one-off or recurring, the billing interval and any cancellation arrangements. Payment is confirmed by the payment provider, not simply by returning to this website.
4. Cancellation, refunds and consumer rights
Contact CQANET promptly if you need to cancel or rearrange a booking, stop an ongoing service or raise a payment concern. Any agreed cancellation charge must be disclosed, fair and consistent with applicable law. Refunds due will be handled through the relevant payment method where possible.
If you are a consumer entering a service contract online or by telephone, you will generally have a 14-day cancellation period from the date the contract is made, subject to statutory exceptions. If you expressly request work to start during that period and then cancel, you may have to pay a proportionate amount for services already supplied, where the legal requirements have been met.
The right to cancel a fully performed service is lost only where the law allows it, including your prior express consent and acknowledgement. Separate rules apply to digital content. Nothing here limits your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, including remedies where a service is not supplied with reasonable care and skill.
5. IT support and remote access
You must be authorised to request work on the relevant equipment, accounts, software and data. Provide safe access and any information reasonably required for the work. Do not send passwords, recovery codes or payment-card details through public enquiry forms.
Remote support requires your permission to use the remote-access software. Review any prompts before allowing a connection and tell the technician if you need to end the session. Keep a current backup of important files before repairs, changes, updates or migrations, and tell us about sensitive data or known faults.
Diagnosis may identify further work or an issue that cannot be resolved by the original service. We will explain the available options rather than guarantee that every fault can be repaired. Backup recommendations do not exclude CQANET's responsibility for its own failure to exercise reasonable care and skill.
6. Web design, content, maintenance and SEO
Project scope, revisions, approvals, hosting, maintenance coverage and handover arrangements should be agreed in writing. You are responsible for supplying accurate material and having permission to use any text, images, branding or other content you provide.
Ownership and licensing of project deliverables are set out in the project agreement. Third-party themes, plugins, fonts, stock media and software remain subject to their own licences. Do not assume that purchasing a service transfers ownership of every underlying tool.
Some design or content work may use AI assistance, as disclosed in the relevant service form. Review and approve final content for accuracy, suitability and rights clearance. SEO and social-media outcomes depend on many external factors; no specific search ranking, traffic level, revenue or uninterrupted third-party platform access is guaranteed.
7. Website and client portal use
Use the website and portal lawfully. Do not attempt unauthorised access, upload malicious material, impersonate another person or interfere with the service. Keep your login secure and contact CQANET if you suspect someone else has accessed your account.
Website articles and ASK CQANET answers provide general information, not a diagnosis or a substitute for advice tailored to your circumstances. AI-generated answers can be inaccurate or incomplete. Verify important instructions before making changes, particularly where security, data loss, legal or financial decisions are involved.
CQANET's website branding, original content and artwork are protected by intellectual-property law. You may view the site for personal use and legitimate business enquiries; other reuse requires permission unless permitted by law.
8. Third-party services and availability
External websites, hosting, VoIP providers, software and payment services operate under their own terms. Links do not mean CQANET controls their content or availability. We may need to interrupt website access for maintenance or security and cannot promise uninterrupted availability.
Where CQANET supplies or manages a third-party service for you, the quotation or service agreement will identify the responsibilities that apply. This does not remove any responsibility CQANET has under that agreement or applicable law.
9. Responsibility and liability
CQANET will provide its services with reasonable care and skill. Responsibility for losses will be assessed in accordance with applicable law and the relevant service agreement. For consumers, this includes losses that are a foreseeable result of a breach of contract or a failure to use reasonable care and skill.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability or statutory right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Any business-specific liability provisions must be set out in the applicable written agreement.
10. Privacy and communications
Our Privacy Policy explains how contact details, service requests, portal records and payment information are handled. We may contact you about an enquiry, booking, service or payment using the details you provide.
Where work involves handling personal data on behalf of your business, any required data-processing arrangements and instructions should be agreed before that work starts.
11. Complaints, applicable law and changes
Send questions or complaints to info@cqanet.com with the relevant service or payment reference. Please explain the issue and the outcome you are seeking so it can be investigated.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales may hear disputes, but consumers retain any mandatory protections and rights to bring proceedings in their home jurisdiction that apply to them.
We may update these website terms, with the revision date shown above. An update does not retrospectively change an existing service contract without agreement or a lawful contractual basis.
